Data & AI
Analytics engineering that teams, and their AI agents, can trust.
I'm a Senior Analytics Engineer at Data Culture. I design data models, lead warehouse migrations, and build governed AI analytics agents with evaluation built in. Before that I was a data team of one, then an analytics engineer at Sterling Bank.
Where I've worked
Each step moved the same work closer to the people who use it: a stack built from scratch, analytics engineering inside a bank, then data and AI solutions for many client teams.
Data Culture
Senior Analytics Engineer
Data and AI solutions for client teams: data modelling, warehouse migrations, and governed analytics agents with evaluation built in.
Sterling Bank
Analytics Engineer
Analytics engineering inside a large financial institution on an Azure and dbt stack.
Early-stage startup
First data hire
A data team of one. Built the modern data stack from scratch with BigQuery, Airbyte, Metabase and dbt.
Selected work
A few results I can point to, from client work and from building on my own.
Governed analytics agent
Open source · 2026
Co-built with the Data Culture team: an agent pattern on dbt's agent schema plus an accuracy evaluation framework with an LLM-as-judge fallback. Written up in the Metric Agent Playbook.
A modern data stack from scratch
First data hire
BigQuery, Airbyte, Metabase and dbt, set up and run as a data team of one.
Writing
Everything I've published on the Data Culture blog.
Teaching on YouTube
A channel for anyone learning data analytics and analytics engineering, from first steps to experienced practitioners. I cover data modelling and architecture, dbt, data pipelines, and the tools shaping the field.
The dbt community helped me build a stack alone. I try to return the favour.
dbt Community Champion
Selected for the inaugural cohort, alongside Opeyemi Fabiyi of Data Culture.
Co-organiser, Lagos dbt Meetup
Running workshops, panels and talks for data practitioners in Lagos.
Head of Programs, Young Data Professionals
A community for people starting careers in data.
